My new quaker Martin

Well it seems as though Martin is a copy cat . He must have been around some might big parrots at some time in his life because he imitates the sqwak of the bigger parrot known as an african grey and also does the too pretty well . Im glad he is an imitater now maybe he will imitate me laughing or fussing not sure which I prefer yet though LOL !!! "I will find you" ,

what do you do with old cards you get

I tell you what I do if I like them . I glue them together and put a ribbon on the back and hang them as wall art and guess what I think it is an awesome idea . Why add to the landfills ? Once I get in my new place I will take some pics of them and post them . what a wonderful way to remember who sent them to you as well . Well all the fids and dogs and everyone gets along so well here . I m so thrilled that is the case . Well take care everyone and stay safe . You know you are a bird nut when , ....

You know you are a bird nut when you convert dog crates to bird carriers !! Does anyone else do this ? I know that it is so much easier to carry them to the vet this way and get them out . Im certain my vet appreciates it too. I guess it is official Im a certifiable bird nut .

This is my new baby blue quaker and his name is martin and he is so sweet and he already sits on my shoulder . He is a real doll and he actually plays with his toys .

I have so neglected this blog for so long

You all will have to excuse me I have neglected this blog for so long . Yuck i just looked at it and eeek . well I dont think old man winter is ever going to go away . It is still cold outside baby and I hate it . Well today I will be receiving my newest addition a baby blue quaker that is right another bird . My arnold is still well and good and probably wont be so tickled at the thought but I am hoping this will work . I was supposed to get an indian ring neck but the lady decided to keep him and im kind of sad about that . But anyway it is what it is . I have decided that eventually we will buy a house sooner or later maybe a mobile home in a nice little park somewhere . At least three bedrooms so I can have a bird room . Boy you know the last three years have been so hard on me and my husband . So many trials and so many tribulations . I just hope there was and is a reason for the trials and tribulations . I guess sometimes God can really make you see what you have instead of what you want . I think so many people fail to see that . Oh well I will post pics later on guys take care .

Im now non insured !!! AGAIN !!!!

Hi there everyone I just had to come here and raise cane or is it hell ? Anyways I am now no longer insured again through my husbands work policy , they were not aware that I was an insulin dependant diabetic . What ? why would I be buying insulin and you are paying for it then ? LOL !!! The woman I talked to was about as helpful as a piece of paper , seriously . She says she does not understand how the corporate big wigs could see the paperwork and still not know that I was a type 1 . All the endo bills ? I have made several calls these last two days and am still no where. My husband says just give up we will find a way to make it work like we did before . I dont see how but that is my husband the ever present optimist . LoL . My bgs have skyrocketed the last two days due to stress. I also notice that when the weather turns cold the bgs go crazy ? Omg !!! I just realized I sound like a basket case LOL !!! Im done ranting I promise .

It is one of those days !!

Have you ever had one of those days where you just have no gumption to do anything remotely close to moving out of a certain chair or just ho hum attitude ? Well my friends this is one of those days for me and I just am so far from caring right now it is not even funny . The sky is gray and the weatherman is calling for snow flurries tommorow . Yes thats right I typed snow flurries , I mean seriously snow flurries this early oh great I predict blizzard conditions for christmas folks and my feet and bones are calling me LOL !!!!
