Holding up the unniverse

You know I don't think I have read such an utterly more depressing book in my lifetime . Besides the language being rather salty , the whole bunch are ready to jump off a cliff in my opinion . These charecters are beyond sad and depressed . If I saw my teenager reading this book I would be so ready to grab it away from them . There is absoloutly no way I could recommend this book to any of my friends because I thought it so depressing ugh !!!No thank you I hope the next one is better because after reading this mickey mouse would be refreshing .

cooking for picaso

this came as an audio book and it was quite the suprising and nice little read . I had a lot of fun listening to this one . I felt sorry for Ondine the girl who was cooking for her mother and her restaurant . she then meets a  man who will change her world in all kinds of ways . I thought it to be a nice book and funny as well . I think it would be a delightful read for anyone who likes to read .

the innkeeper of ivy hill

I guess you could say this was not my favorite of this author . It was a tedious read for me and the character development could have been a lot better in my opinion . I have read other books by this author in which she did a much better job than this one . Sorry but I don't think I liked this one as much as her others . Of course now I have read other folks blogs that said they liked this one . Maybe the other ones were more well written . I have to say I loved the cover on this book it looks very English countryside if you will . I wish I could say something else nice but it is just not there for me the way her others are and were .

A book im sure I will re read many times

this is a book I'm sure I will re read many times . This author applied practical knowledge and bible scripture to change the way you think about things . It was very insightful and in depth . I actually applied some of these to my life and wallah they actually worked which is a miracle in and of itself . I think any faith follower and believer would enjoy this book I mean it took me a few days to get it but after I did , wow just wow . I encourage all of you to read this book .

The secret language of dogs

I loved this book and even after having dogs most of my life since I was in grade school , I still managed to learn a few things . I like how Victoria went into detail about the body language and the tail motions etc ...I recommend this book for anyone who is owned by a dog big or small . I don't want to give too much of it away , but I'm just telling everyone I know to read it . I read it one day that is how much it captivated me . Thankyou to blogging for books for sending me a free copy for my honest review .

A little lulu fan

I want to thank a friend for giving me the idea of this post . Her post was about cartoons and she mentioned little lulu . well I found this little lulu in a thrift store outside Columbus ohio on one of my jaunts or day trips shall we call it and so I present to you little lu lu and for those of you who are too young to remember little lu lu she was a comic book character from the 1960's I do believe of course I could be wrong on that so don't quote me on that thanks . I guess this book was not my cup of tea

well this book was certainly not my cup of tea . I felt like the author was saying it was okay to be a slave to my family and friends and spouse and honestly I lost my cool and did not even finish it . I felt like nothing was happening except me becoming depressed from reading this book . I could continue no longer reading or I would be withdrawn and sullen .
