This postcard was sent to me by a pen pal and I love it . She knows I like oriental things and items and this is just one of the lovelys she sent . There is some oriental writing on the corner but since I dont know how to read japaneese writing I am out of look it is probably just a makers mark of some sort .
She sent the other one , the one with the flowers I believe to be a cherry blossom but cant be sure . It is just beautifull though . I really cherish the both of them and hope to keep them for a long time . I consider these cards a gift , a cherished gift .
Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove the background of your blog too!
Ooooh! I love them both!
ReplyDeleteI send cards to my girlfriend to use as she wants and she has trouble not framing half of them. (That makes me feel awesome). It is nice when recipients of gifts openly share and cherish them.
Have a GREAT day!!!
I think it's the most wonderful thing to get a card in the mail. You are very lucky. :) I'm glad you had something to brighten your day.
ReplyDelete...and ps, yes, i'm off to take a breather. thanks for visiting!
These cards are so pretty. I collect pretty notecards and use them too. I believe that hand written notes are so special.
ReplyDeleteHow awesome!!!! They are so pretty. My aunt has all kinds of oriental stuff in her house. Her sister-in-law and brother-in-law were stationed in Jaoan and she would always get great pieces from them for holidays and on visits!! Thanks for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun pen pal, just beautiful cards.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for joining my blog, I really appreciate it.
Hi, we had a lab before, and gave her a cup in the am and a cup in the pm. We were told when the puppy was little (for the Cavachon) to keep food down all day when she is first home. I guess they eat 2-3 pieces every half hour or so??? I figure I will measure the food, and put it out 2 times a day, and let her eat at her pace, but not just keep filling the bowl. Or lab was super healthy, aside from being blind. I can't wait to get the new baby and get out and play with her. I need some exercise too!!! LOL!!! Thank you for the advice... Your dog is a doll!!! My cousin had one of these (it just passed away) named Sophie! She was a doll! Hope you are having a GREAT day!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards! Great friends. Love your background! I love all things oriental. I lived in the Far East for about 3 years. Wendy was only 9 at the time. But, she was able to travel with me. She was able to see many cultures
ReplyDeleteVery pretty,thanks for sharing them.
