Lab results are in

Well it seems that I was right in suspecting that the dog here my little boy as he is more commonly referred to ,is a diabetic . We got called with the results this am . I had been suspecting for a while since I know the signs in humans and figured that they could not be too far off from the dog right ? I was right and he does get like grumpy when he does not get enough food and then he gets shaky and he has to be warmed up with a blanket . you know I used to think my human kids were work these fur babies are proving to be quite a job themselves . Oh well be careful out there among them english and negative ghost rider .

  1. Surgery for one doggie, and diabetes for the other. :( That is so sad. Good luck. I hope they are both feeling better soon!

  2. Hi! Thanks for checking out my blog. My daughter was dx about a year and a half ago, but I'm new to the blogging world.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. We have an aging yellow lab, who so far just seems to be going deaf!

I've put you on my blog roll, so I'll be checking in regularly! Nice to meet you!

  3. Poor baby. I'm glad you were able to tell what was wrong with him. How are dogs treated? I'm not thinking you have to check his blood all the time, do you?

  8. Wow! You take care of that sweet, little pup!

I know nothing about caring for a dog with diabetes, but I'm sure you'll figure it all out and do a great job!

Sending prayers your way. : )
