Just getting adjusted

Boy it really is hard to get adjusted when you move to a totally new city is it not ? Some things are very confusing and overwhelming like knowing where streets are and buildings are . I guess I have never considered myself lost anywhere . I think maybe Im just feeling a bit overwhelmed . everyday I am busy going at it on the internet looking for jobs and Im hoping something comes along soon . Oh well enough for now . Now this is weather I can handle

Today it will hit 68 degrees at noon and maybe 75 by 2pm and then it goes cool at night now see these are temps I can handle . I really like it here and my dog needs to get adjusted to being quiet while handling the noise from the apt livers that dwell here . I am going to really like it here . This was the last move we are doing ourselves , we will hire someone to move us next time . we both got sick to our stomachs moving in and that tells me that we need to hire someone next time to do it for us . Now it is time to start looking at furniture cause we got rid of all our old stuff when we left . I found an awesome work desk that I am dying to have and get . I m used to paying big money for furniture and the prices here just floor me that they are so reasonable . LOL !! Or maybe I am still living florida prices . Im sure I will get used to all of this and am applying like crazy to jobs . I hope something happens soon in the way of a job for me . I need one if only pt to get me out of this house and some pocket money . Oh well be careful out there among them english and negative ghost rider .

wow what a change !!

The weather here is certainly is different .I am still in long sleeves , and loving it . the first day moving in I was sweating and had to take my coat off of all things . Hey the cold felt good to me , LOL ! Oh well not much else to say and glad all is going well so far . Be careful out there among them english and negative ghost rider .

Im here in Ohio

Im here now and fine and hope all is well . I have everything done that needed to be done . Im really liking it here and boy the trip was horrendous . we left late because the lug nut on the car hauler was loose and that took thirty mins to fix and they were backed up at the check in counter to get our rental truck and it took us two hours to get the storage unit and the room we were staying in out at my cousins house . Then we got stuck in atlanta rush hour traffice and then cincinatti ohio traffic rush hour . I have never seen so many strip clubs in my whole life as I did on this trip . LOL !! I am so glad we got here in one piece and we are finally settled into our apt and we like it here and it is very quiet . No loud people and no noisemakers and we can actually sleep during the night .Oh well I am very happy to be here and hope you all are well and good . okay one more day until the big move

I am so excited and cant wait to see what awaits me on the other side . I went to Mass yesterday to say goodbye to my church friends and let them know my new address they said they would write but you know how that goes , they say they will but out of sight out of mind and that is okay with me . we just found out that our niece is also moving to cincinatti an hr from where we will be and we are thrilled about that especially when the holidays roll around we will all gather Im sure for great food and everything and of course our next official holiday is 4th of july and of course we will do the bbq cause hubby loves to bbq. Im just counting the hrs now I guess and it is so hard especially when you are all packed and ready to go . Oh well take care . Be careful out there among them english and negative ghost rider .

3 days and counting down

Yes that is right three days until the big moving day and I am so thrilled and cant wait for the new things that await me . New town , new everything . For my husband it will be like going home for him because that is where he was born and his parents are buried which is like five mins from there and of course I will be honored to take care of their resting places because they raised such a great son and although I never got to meet these wonderful people who raised such an amazing creature as my husband . I m sure I would have adored these people and especially when I hear my husband talk about them and how they worked together and treated each other. I think it is a comfort to know that when we leave this earth there will be relatives to take care of our final resting places . Well now that I am all packed it is just a waiting game till the big day . Be careful out there among them english and negative ghost rider .

Well Im still packing

wow I am still packing and it it less than a week when I leave it is now down to five days and counting and yes I am x-ing the days off my calendar . I know I am shameless . I also am going to try and make this long distance trip and keep my diabetes under control . If not then I will do the best I can do . I guess you just never know how much you have until you start moving it all and getting organized and then it is all the organizing you have to do when you move in and decorate . I will have time to do it and will also be trying to interview for a job with a few i have set up . Im so thrilled it is a new begining and a fresh start and believe me when I say we need that because the last few years have been just agony . It all started when my husband lost his job and then we had to sell our house thank god the first looker bought the house and we were thrilled that we got out from under it and then we had to move to an apt and then we thought maybe moving to ky would give us a fresh start , nope no jobs there so we had to move back to florida with my cousin and living with family is no picnic nor it is comfy by anymeans . so this is a fresh start for us and we need it and we have some family up there but mostly through my hubbys family . I just know I will be at peace cause I have decided to make myself be at peace . Okay now back to packing and sorting and more packing .
