oh me oh my I have lift off on my tomatoe plants

Well after all this time my tomatoe plants finally have flowers yeah which means yes , you guessed it in a few wks I will have home grown tomatoes . I am happy to report that the topsy turvy does work and also planting tomatoes in containers works as well . I have been growing tomatoes for years and they need lots and lots of water when growing them in a container . Next yr I will probably try my hand at the strawberry and green pepper topsy turvys .I am also happy to report that all my house plants are happy as clams too . This is my favorite corner of our bedroom . all these plants were grown from tiny little seedlings and I am so proud. Okay Im done bragging now and I will go sit in my time out chair NOT !!! LOL !!! also im feeling much better and thank you all for your well wishes and remember be careful out there among them english and negative ghost rider .

Food poisoning has hit my household

Well we were supossed to go fishing this am but my hubby and I got hit with food poisoning this morning and I am just now feeling better after a struggle with the porcelin king and the all mighty pink liquid gold called pepto- bismol . we both ate sandwiches yesterday and about 12 hrs later bada bing bada bang it hit us . Hubby has been up all night so he is sleeping all day today and I have just gotten over it about mid day . Thank god Im over it and I hope that the d does not decide to strike up on me as well . Of course my bgs have been all over the place with the food poisoning . So needless to say I have had a strugle all day today .well my friends be careful out there among them english and negative ghost rider .

Rock formations and a blown day trip

yesterday while my husband had the day off we went riding around and I spotted this awesome rock formation on the side of the road . Of course I think I spoiled the trip yesterday by not wanting to take a 4 hr trip in a car . I cannot stand to be in a car that long and never could . I dont like driving for say two hrs and still not be where we are going. . My husband seems to like that sort of thing I dont . Anyways onto nicer things . I like rock formations like this and I also like mountains . I think mountains are mighty and strong just like God. Well anyways I hope you all have an awesome weekend and take care every one .

Oh The Heat Wave

Hi all thought you all would enjoy a nice photo of a beautiful sight . I found this sweet little sunflower peeking at me on my patio this morning . Yep grew this litlle thing from a discarded sun flower seed from my birds food . In the other photo is a great book that I am reading and it is titled " A three dog life and so far it is really good . I think anyone who likes dogs will like this book . I will save some more photos for tommorows post . I hope you all enjoy the views .

a Heat wave

Wow this heat is wrecking havoc with the bgs alot . I woke up at 228 and of course I have been fighting highs all am long . It seems like lately if Im not fighting a high Im fighting a low . I guess it is just one of those roller coaster things again and frankly I hate it and Im done and over it and little big d can go away forever . Yeah we wish right ? Im tired and done and over it . Oh wait I said that already LOL !!! If you dont laugh about it , you cry about it and I dont feel like crying at all so I would rather laugh as Im sure so would the rest of my blogger friends and readers . Last time I blogged I was in a crappy mood and it came out in my blog . Oh well guess some days are better than others .So now all day I will probably be fighting highs and keeping my head above water with that . Man Im so glad I dont have kids living at home that would have to deal with me right now . LOL !!! I dont like having to deal with people when I am fighting highs or lows . Okay folks no fire works but other pics

Well wow could my day suck any worse ? I woke up and started to finish off some letter and low and behold the fountain pen broke and ink every where and then we found out there were fireworks on July 3rd here not the 4th so we missed them last night . So after cleaning up the ink and the mess that was the top of my desk I decide that perhaps we should remove ourselves from this house . LOL !! So we went to the ohio caverns where it was a really nice 54 degrees down there and it was cold and damp and dark . At first I kind of got sick to my stomach I really did and then when that subsided , the tour guide says , Oh and for all of those who might wonder about our safety she told us that we were perfectly safe and that when the top of the cavern expierienced an earthquake they did not even feel it when they were in the caverns . She mentioned this safety part sort of toward the end of the tour and I was like dont you think she should have said something toward the begining of the tour about that . LOL !! But hey that is my story a day late and a dollar short . Well any ways I got some awesome pics of the caverns and picked up some awesome post cards too . I just wish ;my pen had not broke !! Im a letter writter darn it did this pen not know that ? Now i have to write with gel pens until I can afford to replace a fountain pen . I cant wait to see the fireworks !!!

I like , many others will be watching the fireworks on sunday and also it is so great to know that I dont have to leave my house because I am on the 2nd floor , I will be able to see the works from my balcony and I am hoping it will be cool enough and no mosquitoes to sit out on the balcony for the duration of the works .At least I hope so anyway . Im hoping also to get some photos of the event as well . Im hoping my friends are doing well that live in Texas with this storm hitting them .Oh well as usual be careful out there among them english and negative ghost rider .
