A great saturday and sunday

Well I wore my t shirt with pride on saturday and not one person stopped me and asked me what my shirt meant . Kinda sad really cause ppl are so in tuned to their own lives and really busy . Oh well that is just me I guess . I have not been able to get a picture because it seems like my camera never wants to work when I want it to work LOL !!! also on sunday went to parrish and father Mike asked me how the parrish could help Holli Whites family and I made an announcement and let them know to contact either me or father mike and he will give you the addy to send it to . Your check that is or if any of you want to send flowers or cards . I hope they make it to where they are supposed to go . I was so glad my church family never lets me down they always care . Children are our future and they need so much help now a days and growing up without a mom is not easy . I hope we get to hear more about Hollis girls and how they are doing . I just know that this thanksgiving and christmas will not be easy without their mom and I will pray extra long for them that they can make it through what will be the hardest christmas of their little lives . Lets us all say a special prayer for them this season . Well be carefull out there among them english and negative ghost rider .

  1. You are so sweet...thank you so much for all of the prayers and support of Holli.

I have heard that her girls are doing okay...they're young and confused...but the family has really come together to support them. It's completely heartbreaking...but all this love and support just shows how Christ can bring people together.

  2. That is so great about your church family. You are right - it will be a tough Christmas for Holly's family for sure. We will keep them in our prayers here at the Houston house.

  3. Yes, thank you for your thoughts and prayers for Holli's family.

As far as the T-Shirt, keep spreading the word. Everytime I do a Hgb at work, I say, "My Granddaughter is a T1D, she was diagnosed at at 2 yrs." After the shocked look has worn off, I tell parents the S/S of diabetes. Take every advantage to educate. You are great at spreading the word. Keep telling your story. :)
