im just so disgusted with these days

I sometimes feel like I work too hard to keep it all together most days and for what ? this is a statement i say everytime I get disgusted with having to inject , monitor , test and pee on a stick . I just get so tired of doing it all and I had these days with my son . Please dont take this the wrong way but I think it was easier for me when my son was little and he needed me more and now that he has been grown for some time , and it is just me to concentrate on all this peeing , injecting and testing and monitoring mess , Im a total mess . It seems like it is harder when it is just me . I know I am not alone in all of this and I often think of Joanne and Amy , Meri , Hallie , Jen , Nicole , Kelly and all of my great d blog mom friends who deal with their little ones having to be injected everyday too and that really stinks that we and our kids are dealt that . I hope this is coming out right , I hate being a ranter and a raver but really sometimes it just gets to be too much and I want to go and hide in a closet or corner . Oh well enough is enough . My wonderfull day yesterday

hey there wait till all of you guys here this . I was waiting on the dr yesterday after five hrs at the clinic they tell me the dr has had an er emergency i will have to come back in two wks . eeek !!! anyway I was waiting to get my supplies uped such as my insulin and my strips and etc and then this happened so now I have to do an out of pocket again untill i can get my apt in two wks which really sucks !!! Oh well how has your week started out ? Hopefully better than mine . Be carefull out there among them english and negative ghost rider .

Hi all Im still alive as well

Hi everyone yes I am still alive . My computer died my laptop that is . it has major problems and will all be corrected soon and now I have to use my big girl computer . I do like the big one as well it just takes up alot of room . I have had alot going on too and will delve into that later . A new day

It is so nice to be able to report that the goldenseal seems to be working . My cough is almost non exsistant . I really do think it is helping . so far I would highly reccomend it . Next winter I am getting a flu shot my dears . I wont be stupid next year and not get one and get this horrible bug again . I am also starting a new book called the sunday philosophy club . It is a mystery and it is written by Alexander Mc call smith . He also has another one out that Im dying to read as well and that is the title of La s orchestra saves the world it is about war time and a young widow the ww 2 period . I really do like to read of this historical period . I find it fascinating . well enough of boring you . Oh yeah today is a day of lows and not really happy about it and hope and pray i dont have a seizure . I have been known to go so low cause I did not feel it and then going into seizure mode and scaring everyone . im sure some of you know what I m talking about . It is not funny and it is not fun for any of us . okay enough gloom and doom . Be carefull out there among them english and negative ghost rider .

Thanks to all of my dear blog friends and yes hubby is much better and I have decided to actually try some herbs like golden seal on the recomendation of a fellow blogger who is also t1 and has been sick with what seems like the same bug I have had . she said that she took golden seal for about a week and within the week she felt so much more energized and the bug seem to have gone away completely . The husband takes a herb for stress and it works for him so if any of you want the name I will gladly get it to you so that you can try it . I will also let you know if the goldenseal works for me at all as well . I hope you all are well and thanks so much for the well wishes . A little tired today

Was up all night with the hubby at the E.R. , He decided to pass a kidney stone . LOL !! Not funny but very tired today and he is on meds . He really did not want to go but there was no way I was going to let him sit here in agony . well they are working it out so that we will not have to pay much for it . I hope this is the case because we really cannot afford a hospital bill right now . After me being so sick with the horrible bug that I had and some remnants and still left over coughing .In other words I dont feel out of the woods yet . I am hoping that I am on the road to recovery . I am begging and praying so .Then i suffered a low last night at the hospital I guess cause of the stress and did not have my meter with me left it at home I was in such a panic to get the hubby to the er . It always happens when Im really stressed or tired . so I got some food and some drink and hoped it would even out and go away .It did go away and we were out there soon after that I was so glad of that . I want to wander off a little bit today

Im not going to talk about diabetes today . I want to tell you about two of my favorite authors today . One is Alexander Mccall Smith , he is brittish and he writes the N0.1 ladies detective agency series . I love these book and if any of you have them I would glady take them off your hands if you dont want them . I have not finished the series yet and I am hoping too . I take it these books are rather hard to find here . I also want you to know that he writes another series with a fasinating charecter by the name of Isabelle Doilhouse (sp) . She is a detective and she is also scottish and quite the fasinating charecter as well from my understanding . It is his way of entertaining that makes the book so fun to read . Now onto another author whom I just recently discovered . His name is Chris Bohjalian and he is the male eqvilant to Jodi Picoult , whose books I absoloutly love . I am starting to love Mr Bohjalians books . He has written , the water witches , the double bind , the laws of similars , the buffalo soldier , skeletons at the feast . I have read all of these and am dying to read his new one . Okay I have bored you long enough . Be carefull out there among them english and negative ghost rider .

Well aint this a kick in the pants

Well I finally found a clinic dr that I have been going to for awhile . Well now it seems that the dr has taken a leave of absence and left all his patients high and dry . I called them this am and they said they dont know what to tell their patients right now .I guess I m going to have to go see another dr and take the cash out of my pocket . Not a problem but it is a problem does that make sense ? I dont know anymore . I want to see the dr cause im wondering how much this medicine is causing the bgs to go all over the place .I want to know so I can see if it truly is the meds causing the highs . Just spending a lazy cold sunday at home

Well today I have set aside for just taking it easy and having a lazy sunday at home . It is still cold out and I have finished one book and I think I will start on another . It is just one of those lazy sundays . You guys know the kind where you just want to lay around and get all cozy and comfy . Im sure you do . Well numbers seem to be getting back into range thank goodness . It was bitter cold here yesterday it was 37 . and that is cold in florida folks . I am still moving to Ohio and I am dying to get our taxes done and be over it . I hate tax time it seems it is so stressing on people this time of year . I dont even want to talk about it really . Today I actually feel like my old self

Now today I actually feel like my old self . No hurting nose , not as much coughing and an actual semi normal bg. Or at least I am half way there yipee . No relapse please . Well I got an interesting piece of mail today and it was from the Ihop restaraunt chain . Several weeks back I complained about a problem with their place here and how shoddy their service was . I did not even think I would hear back from them . Well lo and behold I got a coupon for free food , which was not what I was after . I wanted to inform them so that they could actually make their service better . I am not one to write complaint letter but believe when I do it was actually really bad LOL !!!So I guess what I am saying that if you want to make things better and keep our friendly mail ppl employed , get out there and write your complaint letters and make things better . Is there ever any stability with the big d ?

Well I want to know if there is any stability with the big d , I mean Im on the anti biotics and it seems like I cant get anywhere near a normal reading and it is all on the high side . The dr did say it would be like this but I am going on 5-6 wks and I cannot imagine what all of this is doing to my poor body . Oh well I hope I recover soon . I am starting to feel much better this time than I did last time I can tell the difference . I was still having pain last time and I am not having pain this time which is a good thing .I know this bug makes you tired all the time and I just feel so drained . Im sure you all know the feeling . I know I do . I just want to go back to having a some what normal bg normal for me anyway . Oh well guys thanks for listening to me vent and cry and whine . I feel better today than I did yesterday

Well since Amy asked me yesterday where in Missouri I grew up . The city is called lebannon and it was alot of fun growing up there and lots of fields to run in . I loved it there and we had all four seasons there and that is one thing I hope to have again when we move to Ohio . Yes Amy oranges will go up in price and so will strawberries because of the freeze we have had here in florida . Everywhere I go I hear ppl sneezing and coughing and Im like I know how you feel and when will it all end . LOL !!! Shannon talked about being tired in her blog , my dear I so know how you feel . Kelly im praying for you and your family dear and most especially your sweet daddy . All you ladies are so special to me and have come to love you all dearly and I know sometimes I can be such a stinker and be awfull snappy at times and I know it is the big d rearing its ugly head again . Yes folks when my bgs get too high I snap and when they get too low I also snap then too .Im sure you all can see this happen in your kids when they are diabetics or you ,yourself if you are a diabetic . Joanne you make me laugh every day and how you talk about being a mom and the antics of elise and yourself . I love it . All of you know who you are even if I did not say your name . Back from the dr

The dr says that I have another sinus infection so another round of antibiotics . I hope this fixes it for sure cause frankly folks im tired of getting sick . I m glad i went back cause she did say my nose was iritated as well . Im done with everyone being sick and it is cold here . It was 40 when we drove home from the dr . and they said it will freeze here tonight . It has been cold is all I know and i know you guys in the northern climates are probably laughing at 40 but in florida 40 is cold folks . I know what cold truly is though cause I was raised in Missouri and that is cold . I know when I move to Ohio it will be cold too.

Hey kids Im headed back to the dr

I have this nasty cough and gunk in the back of my throat that wont go away so i have a feeling I did not get rid of all the bacteria that was in there before and today Im feeling like I have a cold again . Boy I tell you when it comes to getting sick I have the worst luck of anyone I know I get it all full force . My poor body cant stand much more I will tell you . I think I would have to be run over by an 18 wheeler to feel better LOL !!! Im not lying folks I woke up feeling just drained . I feel like such a stinker for complaining cause I know alot of you are going through worse and Im praying for you all that gods blessings over you .And his angels surround you and protect you . Im tired

Im tired of testing my blood 6- 10 times a day , Im tired of carb counting and what else am I tired of ? frankly im tired of the big d rearing its ugly head when you dont feel like dealing with it and of course you must deal with it so it does not kill you .Im tired of getting the shakes when low and being looked at like your a freak you know what im talking about . Im tired of it making me crazy everytime I turn around . Im tired of trying to stuff food down my throat to treat a low and then being high because I stuffed too much . Oh hell Im just tired period . Tired of diabetes and I want a cure . I want to be able to leave my house without a meter , a vial of insulin and syringes and the whole kit and kaboodle that we as diabetics have to carry with us when we leave the house . Okay so I posted my little guys pics and now I am posting my little girls pics . Yes folks I have two of these little buggars and they are awesome and bring so much joy into your life .
